Responsible Parenting Training
Expecting a child or already raising a little one under three years old? The Courses of Responsible Parenting, established based on training and resource centers, provides an invaluable opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for confident and mindful parenting.
Main Goals and Mission of the Parenting Training:
- Providing up-to-date knowledge and practical skills for caring for and raising children from birth to three years old.
- Supporting the emotional bond between parents and children, fostering trust and warmth within the family.
- Raising awareness of the physical and psychological development of a child, helping parents understand and respond to their baby’s needs at every stage of life.
- Promoting the creation of a safe and supportive environment for the child’s development, including aspects of health, nutrition, and safety.

ℹ️The project is implemented by UNICEF Ukraine with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the German Development Bank (KFW), in partnership with the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine, NGO “Social Synergy,” and the Ukrainian Education Platform.

For whom?
Future moms and dads, including those who are planning pregnancy or expecting a child, as well as other individuals involved in child care and parents of children up to 3 years old.

Duration?
The courses consists of 8 sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours (1-2 times per week). Total duration: 12 hours.

How to join?

Who are the trainers?
Qualified medical professionals/instructors from medical educational institutions who have been trained in the UPM (Universal Progressive Model of Home Visits).
