The Training and Resource Center (TRC) in Lviv was established by the NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” in 2024 with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) at the Lviv Medical Professional College of Postgraduate Education.

About the Center
The Training and Resource Center is a space for education and professional development for specialists who support families with young children from the very first days of life. The center focuses on implementing the “Care from Birth at Home” program in Ukraine, ensuring that every family receives the necessary information and care.
It is one of sixteen such centers (as of March 2026) that form the network of training and resource centers in Ukraine.
What We Do
- Train nurses, healthcare professionals, and other specialists in modern family support methods
- Provide high-quality training sessions, workshops, and practical exercises
- Promote effective approaches to early childhood development, breastfeeding, and responsible parenting
- Inform parents about child care and home-based support
Who Can Benefit?
Within the Home Visiting Model, specialists trained at the center provide support to families with children from birth to three years old. Every family can receive:
- Guidance on child care and development
- Consultations on breastfeeding, nutrition, and infant safety
- Psycho-emotional support for parents
- Assistance in adapting to parenthood and strengthening parenting skills
