💛Children’s Points “SPILNO” in Zhytomyr region are spaces for creativity, learning, development, play, and communication.
🟡At the SPILNO Children’s Point in Olevsk, a primary school teacher works with children every week, conducting additional classes for first-graders. Children improve their reading and writing skills.
🟡It is worth noting that services at children’s points are aimed not only at children but also at their families. Recently, in SPILNO Malyn, an hour of communication for parents with a psychologist was organized. They talked about emotions and feelings. Art therapy techniques helped participants visualize their emotions on paper, better understand themselves, and express their feelings more deeply.
And for children, the psychologist conducted exercises to develop attention, memory, and fine motor skills. The children spent time with enthusiasm. The specialist also provided individual consultations.
🟡At the SPILNO Children’s Point in Popilnia, they also organized a meeting with a psychologist for children. During the session with elements of the training “Learning to Manage Emotions,” children talked about what they feel, learned to recognize and control their emotional state. They also worked creatively.
💙All activities at SPILNO Children’s Points in Cherniahiv, Olevsk, Baranivka, Yemilchyne, Ruzhyn, Malyn, and Popilnia are free and are carried out within the framework of the cross-sectoral project of In Touch Ukraine Foundation with the support of the UNICEF Child Fund UNICEF Ukraine.
