In the context of armed conflict and supply chain disruptions, our project is aimed at increasing the level of routine immunization. We incentivize healthcare professionals, explore financial incentives, and provide consultations to families with children who have relocated to the Zhytomyr region. Our pilot program explores new ways to boost vaccination rates in Ukraine.

Expanding Horizons: New Initiatives of the Public Organization ‘In Touch Ukraine’ in the Region. Increasing the Level of Routine Vaccination and Pilot Program in the Zhytomyr Region.
Health Protection Initiatives:
📘 Distribution of Materials: 500,000+ copies distributed across the Zhytomyr region.
Additional Activities:
- Consultation of doctors at Joint Child Points.
- Consultations of doctors in remote village communities (Olevska, Ruzhynska, and Malynska united communities) with mobile vaccination teams.
- Consultations of doctors in interactive quizzes in Zhytomyr, Zvyahel, Berdychiv, Radomyshl, Cherniahiv, Korostyshiv, and Stanyshivka.
- Pilot consultation variant at STEM laboratories; during May, consultations of doctors took place at Joint Child Points.
Results:
- 96 Kindergartens in the Zhytomyr region were provided with informational materials and quizzes.
- Interactive sessions for elementary school children in Zhytomyr city and the Zhytomyr region.
- Tent events in various communities in the region.
- Advertising campaign on billboards and LED screens in Zhytomyr.
