Mobile medical teams (MMTs) continue to visit the communities of Olevsk, Slovechansk, and Narodychi in the Zhytomyr region. In November, the MMTs are set to visit 12 villages in these communities. This offers residents an opportunity to receive consultations from family doctors, undergo certain medical examinations, and even talk to a psychologist.

“With each visit of the MMTs, we receive positive feedback. People appreciate the chance to check their blood sugar and cholesterol levels, vision and hearing, have an electrocardiogram, and receive not only a doctor’s consultation but also, if needed, prescriptions for medications and referrals to specialists. In October, the MMTs examined 321 people, including 24 children,” says Anastasiia Batyrieva, the MMT coordinator in Zhytomyr region.
The MMTs will continue their visits according to a familiar schedule for local residents: every Tuesday – Narodychi community, every Wednesday – Slovechansk community, and every Thursday – Olevsk community.
In November, the MMTs are scheduled to visit the following locations:
- 05.11 – village Selets, Narodychi community;
