Organizational context of the work: Public Organization “NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” is looking for an expert who can perform the role of a PR Manager for the project “Restoring access to medical services in communities of Zhytomyr region” within the framework of the project “Innovations to overcome the HIV/AIDS epidemic” for 10 months.
The project is implemented by NGO “NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” in the region with the support of the USAID project “Building a resilient public health system”, funded by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact in partnership with the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) and the European Institute of Public Health Policy (EIPHP).
The project aims to provide medical and psychosocial assistance to remote settlements of Zhytomyr region (Olevska, Slovechanska, and Narodytska communities).
The goal of the USAID Project “Building a Resilient Public Health System” (2022-2027) is to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Ukraine to prevent, detect, and respond to public health threats, ensure the performance of critical public health functions in crisis periods, protect the health of all Ukrainians, including vulnerable and marginalized groups, and expand and provide mental health services to populations affected by war.
Requirements for the candidacy:
Full higher education in the field of project management, public administration, international relations, medicine, etc. Experience in project management, activities of public organizations, international projects, regional development for at least 2 years. Knowledge of English at the minimum level B2; Knowledge of an additional foreign language will be an advantage. Ability to work with Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Canvas, Figma, CRM systems, Data Check. Availability of certificates of qualification improvement or competency development will be an advantage. Additional documents required for participation in the competition:
Provide confirmation of quality interaction with local authorities, regional state administrations, or other state or municipal authorities of designated territories (in any form); Provide 2 successful results of implementation of IMT projects, where you were a team member; Brief description of functional responsibilities:
Writing articles, posts, videos, photos regarding the implementation of activities under the project. Promote the project in local and regional media. Conduct a minimum of 2-3 broadcasts on radio, television regarding the project implementation. Additional reporting on project activities. Travel once a quarter with IMT to participating communities to create quality photo and video content. Recording and editing interviews from people regarding the quality of IMT work. Ensure continuous updating of all organization (and organization projects) pages on social networks. Operational preparation of press releases and their timely distribution. Monitoring of publications in the media (including communication regarding violations of donor branding guidelines during project implementation). Adherence to Appendix 6 “Brand Strategy and Labeling Plan”. Ensure continuous updating of the organization’s homepage, publication of news about important events. Ordering and development of souvenir products, organization of preparation of printed products of the Organization, etc. Organization of public events (award ceremonies, conferences, press conferences, etc.). Preparation of short summaries in Ukrainian from news, to inform Organization members. Maintaining contacts with partners (thank you letters after events, informing about Organization’s projects of interest to them, etc.). Receiving and sending postal correspondence, maintaining feedback with the Organization using communication tools (telephone, fax, etc.). Other tasks that may arise during work.
