Organizational context of work: The NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” is seeking an expert who can fulfill the role of a regional coordinator for the project “Spaces of Psychological Support in Communities of Zhytomyr Region within the project ‘Innovations for Overcoming the HIV Epidemic'” for a period of 6 months.
The project “Spaces of Psychological Support in Communities of Zhytomyr Region within the project ‘Innovations for Overcoming the HIV Epidemic'” is implemented under a grant agreement between the NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” and Pact Inc. No. 380-019127 dated April 1, 2024, and is implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project is executed by a consortium of three organizations: Pact, FHI 360, and AFEW-Ukraine (“AIDS Foundation East-West”).
The project aims to establish a network of spaces for psychological support in the territories of Olevska, Slovechanska, and Narodytska communities of Zhytomyr Region to provide psychological assistance and support to the population affected by armed aggression.
Requirements for the candidate:
Full higher education in the field of project management, public administration, law, international relations, philology, medicine, etc. Experience in project management, activities of civil society organizations, international projects, regional development for at least 2 years. Knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2; Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage. Ability to work with Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Canva, Figma, CRM systems, Data Check. Availability of certificates of professional development or competence development will be an advantage.
Additional documents required for participation in the competition:
Provide confirmation of quality interaction with the bodies of local self-government, regional state administrations, or other state or municipal authorities of designated territories (in any form);
Provide 2 successful results of implementing MTD projects where you were a team member or coordinator;
Brief description of functional responsibilities
Conducting a qualitative assessment of the project application and creating a schedule of activities;
Search, contracting, and organization of work for the core project team to administer project activities;
Search, contracting, and organization of work for PPP administrators;
Interaction with regional authorities and municipalities to organize quality PPP work;
Search for premises for PPP placement according to the conceptual document;
Communication with the management of institutions where PPPs will be located to prepare locations for quality work;
Conducting events, meetings, trainings during project implementation with the participation of regional experts and authorities;
Preparation of all necessary legal documents for work;
Document management:
formation of technical specifications for equipment procurement;
Preparation of materials for project promotion in the region;
Monitoring compliance with the project implementation schedule;
Formation of quality communication models with communities to achieve indicators;
Monitoring of indicator achievement for the project;
Formation of a positive image around the respective project;
Implementation of information and awareness-raising activities;
Control and coordination of payment schedule and procurement;
Verification of invoices and compliance with donor procedures during project implementation;
Approval of PPP work schedules;
Preparation of documents upon request and tranche repayment;
