NGO “INTOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION”, EDRPOU code 44749100, invites a specialist who can take on the role of a rehabilitation consultant in the project “Implementation of a universal progressive model of home visits and integrated medical and sanitary services, oriented towards children, at the local level in certain regions of Ukraine,” which will be implemented jointly with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) within the home visits program “Care from Birth at Home.”
The project “Implementation of a universal progressive model of home visits and integrated medical and sanitary services, oriented towards children, at the local level in certain regions of Ukraine” is being implemented by UNICEF and NGO “INTOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION” and will run from March 2024 to February 2025.
Project Geography: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Volyn, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia regions.
“Care from Birth at Home” is a joint program of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and UNICEF, which involves the implementation of a universal-progressive model of home visits to improve the provision of medical and social assistance to families with children from 0 to 3 years old at the primary level. Meeting with the family in their own environment provides the specialist with a unique opportunity to understand problems and make the right decisions.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Full higher education in the field of healthcare.
- Work experience in medicine or management for at least 3 years.
- Fluent in Ukrainian.
- Understanding of the healthcare system of Ukraine and reform concepts.
- Excellent understanding of the system of medical rehabilitation services.
- English language skills at the minimum level A2; Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Canvas, CRM systems.
- Availability of certificates for professional development or competency development is an advantage.
- Zero tolerance for any manifestations of violence and discrimination, adherence to ethical norms.
Additional documents required for participation in the competition:
- Provide confirmation of quality interaction with the bodies of the MH, RSA, or other state or municipal bodies of the designated territories (in any form);
- Provide at least 1 successful result of the implementation of the MTD project in which you participated.
Brief description of functional responsibilities:
- Coordination of quality interaction with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine;
- Interaction with project participants (PHCCs, rehabilitation centers, etc.) according to the project’s geography to facilitate project representation;
- Interaction with the technical rehabilitation expert;
- Conducting joint meetings with the project team to ensure quality interaction;
- Analysis of existing rehabilitation service packages in Ukraine;
- Analysis of international experience in providing relevant rehabilitation services in European countries;
- Assessment of the needs of healthcare institutions in rehabilitation equipment according to the project’s geography;
- Conducting or coordinating needs analysis to identify shortcomings and opportunities in the field of rehabilitation;
- Consulting the project team on the implementation of relevant activities;
- Providing proposals to the project team for the implementation of best practices;
- Maintaining continuous communication with the project team to address needs/questions arising during project implementation;
- Informing the project manager about any incidents identified during project implementation;
- Preparation of documents for distribution to healthcare institutions;
- Consulting and supporting the development of a technical solution for creating a mobile application for quality analysis and data collection among medical professionals working in the universal-progressive model of home visits;
- Providing services for the development of effective models for the development of the patronage model and improving rehabilitation services for children in Ukraine;
- Forming reporting forms for quality adaptation to national systems;
- Supporting the promotion of the relevant project at the national level;
- Preparation and submission of documents/reporting.
