Schedule of mobile medical teams for May 2024
Expanding Medical Services in Zhytomyr Region
Starting in May, mobile medical teams (MMTs) will continue their important mission by visiting 15 villages in the Zhytomyr region. Since the beginning of the year, over 1,000 people have received services from MMTs. By September, more than 100 visits to remote settlements are planned, where access to medical services is limited.
📅 On March 12, the MMT’s schedule included a visit to the village of Noryntsi in the Narodychi community.
💬 According to family doctor Dmytro Nikoryak, who visits the residents of the Narodychi community as part of the MMT, 25 people were consulted that day, and 24 of them were referred to specialists.
💓 Most referrals were to cardiologists and endocrinologists, indicating that many people have chronic non-communicable diseases of the cardiovascular or endocrine systems.
🧫 During the examination, the doctor conducts additional tests such as electrocardiograms, blood pressure and pulse measurements, blood oxygen saturation checks, and glucose and cholesterol level assessments.
Often, people are aware of their conditions but unfortunately do not have the opportunity to seek timely medical help. These preventive check-ups help to monitor current health status and track changes over time if previous examinations are available.

Support and Accessibility of Services
In Touch Ukraine Foundation is actively working to make medical and psychological services accessible to everyone. The need for medical consultations and psychological support in remote villages remains high. MMTs provide the necessary assistance to those who cannot regularly visit doctors due to distance or other barriers.
Mobile medical teams continue their work, improving the health and well-being of residents in the Zhytomyr region by delivering quality medical services directly to the communities.
We combine efforts to provide comprehensive assistance and support to the community. Our mobile team is dedicated to caring for your health and well-being. If necessary, additional specialists from specific areas or Zhytomyr city may be involved in the visits.
ℹ️ These activities are carried out in Zhytomyr region by In Touch Ukraine Foundation as part of the project “Restoring Access to Medical Services in Communities of Zhytomyr Region,” supported by USAID – US Agency for International Development, in collaboration with Pact.
