Experience of the Zhytomyr Training Center
At the initiative of the NGO “In Touch Ukraine,” the first training and resource center in Ukraine was established at the Zhytomyr Medical Institute. Four national-level trainer teams have been created and trained: Zhytomyr, Lviv, Odesa, and Kropyvnytskyi.
Head of NGO "In Touch Ukraine," Margarita Siranchuk:
“Pediatricians and nurses have undergone specialized training as part of the cross-sectoral project by In Touch Ukraine Foundation, supported by UNICEF, and are now actively applying their knowledge in practice.”
The success of the first center became a catalyst for opening centers in regions of Ukraine
Our project has become a flagship initiative in the Zhytomyr region, receiving support from the Minister of Health, being included in the early intervention package, and becoming part of the region’s socio-economic development plan.
