💙Continuing to support healthcare institutions in Zhytomyr. As part of the cross-sectoral project of In Touch Ukraine Foundation with the support of UNICEF Ukraine, they recently provided another assistance to Korosten Central City Hospital.
🟡This time, special lamps were transferred for the equipment of the operating delivery department of Korosten Central City Hospital.
Previously, furniture had already been purchased for this medical institution, including
🔹Medical tables, 🔹Laboratory chairs, 🔹Anesthetist’s table, 🔹Medical cabinets for storing medicines, 🔹Medical tables for medications, 🔹Medical couches.
During the visit of the In Touch Ukraine Foundation team to the hospital, they also discussed the prospects for further cooperation. In particular, there are plans to create a “Psychological Assistance Room” based on Korosten Central Hospital.
As part of the work of the room, it is planned to provide informational services to pregnant women who are on pregnancy preservation, including women from internally displaced persons; women at “risk group” of childbirth; women who have given birth prematurely and others in need. Room specialists will provide informational services for:
🔸Issuing birth certificates; 🔸Processing payments for the birth of a child; 🔸Opportunities to receive humanitarian and psychological assistance.
It is planned to establish a system for redirecting patients based on their actual place of residence to receive social services in the community.
