Organizational Context:
The public organization “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” is seeking a Communication Specialist for the project “Restoring Access to Healthcare Services” as part of the “Innovations to Combat the HIV Epidemic” project, for a period of 4.5 months.
The “Restoring Access to Healthcare Services” direction under the “Innovations to Combat the HIV Epidemic” project is implemented under the grant agreement between In Touch Ukraine Foundation and Pact Inc. No. 380-018818 dated December 6, 2023, supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The project executors are a consortium of three organizations: Pact, FHI 360, and AFEW-Ukraine (AIDS Foundation East-West).
Candidate Requirements:
- Higher education in economics, management, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
- English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Canva, Figma, CRM systems, Data Check.
- Certificates confirming professional development or competency enhancement will be an advantage.
Additional documents required for participation in the competition:
- Provide confirmation of successful collaboration with local self-government bodies, regional or district state administrations, or other state or municipal institutions in the specified region, in any form.
- Provide 2 examples of successful results in the implementation of international technical assistance (ITA) projects where you participated as a team member or coordinator.
Brief Job Description:
- Writing articles, posts, videos, and photos about project activities.
- Promoting the project in local and regional media.
- Conducting at least 2-3 radio or TV broadcasts on project implementation.
- Maintaining additional reporting on project activities.
- Traveling once per quarter with Mobile Medical Teams (MMTs) to participating communities to create high-quality photo and video content.
- Recording and editing interviews with people regarding the quality of MMT services.
- Ensuring constant updates of all Organization (and project-related) social media pages.
- Timely preparation and distribution of press releases.
- Monitoring media publications (including communication regarding any violations of donor branding and attribution requirements during project implementation).
- Following Appendix 6 “Branding Strategy and Marking Plan.”
- Ensuring regular updates to the Organization’s website homepage, publishing news about important events.
- Ordering and developing branded merchandise, organizing the preparation of printed materials for the Organization.
- Organizing public events (award ceremonies, conferences, press conferences, etc.).
- Preparing short summaries in Ukrainian from news for informing Organization members.
- Maintaining contact with partners (thank you letters after events, informing them about projects of interest, etc.).
- Receiving and sending postal correspondence, maintaining communication with the Organization via phone, fax, etc.
- Handling other tasks that may arise during work.
