🤱 For a year now, a psychological assistance room has been operating in the Zhytomyr Regional Perinatal Center as part of the implementation of the cross-sectoral project by In Touch Ukraine Foundation with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) UNICEF Ukraine.
🟦 The room provides informational services to pregnant women on pregnancy preservation, including internally displaced women; high-risk deliveries; women who gave birth prematurely, and others in need.



💛 During this time, the psychosocial work has covered nearly 600 women from the mentioned categories, who received 869 psychological consultations and over 500 social services. The psychological assistance room is staffed with social work and psychology professionals who provide the following services:
🔹 Informational support,
🔹 Counseling,
🔹 Referral, including humanitarian assistance (if possible).
Most often, women approach the psychologist with the following concerns:
🔹 Fear of childbirth,
🔹 Fear of premature birth,
🔹 Fear of losing the child,
🔹 Postpartum depression,
🔹 Fear of losing a premature baby,
🔹 Minor pregnant women undergoing the process of realizing motherhood,
🔹 Fear of losing a husband in the conflict zone,
🔹 Fear of living in a war zone and the future of the unborn child.
