Medical assistance for remote communities

Our new project aims to provide medical assistance and psychosocial support to residents of remote settlements in the Zhytomyr region – Narodytska, Olevska, Slovechanska communities.

Mobile Medical Teams:

Interdisciplinary mobile teams that include doctors, nurses, psychologists, and social work specialists.

Primary Medical Assistance:

Mobile teams make scheduled visits to provide primary medical assistance. Our doctors and nurses are capable of delivering effective assistance directly on-site.

We Help Where It's Needed Most!

We make visits directly to the communities in the Narodytska, Olevska, and Slovechanska hromadas of the Zhytomyr region.

Psychosocial Support:

Psychosocial Support: We understand the importance of mental health. Psychologists in our teams are ready to provide psychosocial support and assistance to patients in overcoming difficulties.

Social Support:

Social Support: Social workers will be working to support citizens in resolving social issues and providing assistance on-site.

Team Composition of the Mobile Medical Team (ММК)

 We combine efforts to provide comprehensive assistance and support to the community. Our mobile team is a team that cares about your health and well-being. If necessary, individual specialists from specific areas or the city of Zhytomyr may ALSO be involved in field visits.

PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN

Our doctors are highly qualified professionals ready to provide necessary medical assistance on-site. They are equipped not only with knowledge but also with the appropriate equipment for diagnostics and treatment.

NURSE

The nurse is an integral part of our team. She assists the doctor and ensures a high standard of medical care. Always ready to provide assistance and support to patients.

SOCIAL WORKER

Our social worker will provide not only medical but also social support. They are ready to listen to your needs and address issues related to the social aspects of your life.

PSYCHOLOGIST

A psychologist is crucial to our team as we understand the importance of mental health. They are ready to provide psychological support and assistance in overcoming stress and difficulties.

Covered 3 communities in the Zhytomyr region

Which communities can benefit from the services of Mobile Medical Teams (MMT)?

The project “Restoring Access to Medical Services in the Narodytska, Olevska, and Slovechanska Communities of the Zhytomyr Region” covers the territories and settlements of three communities in the Zhytomyr region, namely:

Narodytska Community:

Located within the Zhytomyr region. Geographical locations and the size of settlements may vary.

Olevska Community:

Another community included in the project. May include various villages and towns depending on administrative divisions.

Slovechanska Community:

The third community participating in the project. Located in the Zhytomyr region.

Each of these communities has its unique features and needs, and the project aims to improve access to medical services for residents of these territories. By employing mobile medical teams, the project contributes to enhancing medical infrastructure and ensuring quality healthcare in remote areas.
