Organizational context of work:
The NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” is seeking an expert to fulfill the role of an operations consultant for the project “Spaces of Psychological Support in Communities of Zhytomyr Region within the project ‘Innovations for Overcoming the HIV Epidemic'” for a period of 6 months.
The project
“Spaces of Psychological Support in Communities of Zhytomyr Region within the project ‘Innovations for Overcoming the HIV Epidemic'” is implemented under a grant agreement between the NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” and Pact Inc. No. 380-019127 dated April 1, 2024, and is implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project is executed by a consortium of three organizations: Pact, FHI 360, and AFEW-Ukraine (“AIDS Foundation East-West”).
The project aims to establish a network of spaces for psychological support in the territories of Olevska, Slovechanska, and Narodytska communities of Zhytomyr Region to provide psychological assistance and support to the population affected by armed aggression.
Requirements for the candidate:
Full higher education in the field of project management, public administration, law, international relations, philology, medicine, etc. Experience in project management, activities of civil society organizations, international projects, regional development for at least 2 years. Knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2; Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage. Ability to work with Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Canva, Figma, CRM systems, Data Check. Availability of certificates of professional development or competence development will be an advantage.
Additional documents required for participation in the competition:
Provide confirmation of quality interaction with the bodies of local self-government, regional state administrations, or other state or municipal authorities of designated territories (in any form); Provide 2 successful examples of implementing MTD projects where you were a team member or coordinator; Brief description of functional responsibilities
Establishment and maintenance of business contacts with community leaders at all stages of project implementation; Official correspondence with project participants, partners, administration, and other stakeholders; Assistance and consultation to the project coordinator on organizing activities; Planning and organization of meetings with local self-government bodies, regional state administrations, or other state and municipal authorities for interaction and discussion of common issues; Providing consultative support to the project coordinator on all matters related to work in communities; Making proposals for optimization and improvement of interaction processes with communities; Consultative support for the preparation of reports and analytical materials on project results; Performing other related duties arising during PPP activities.
