Job vacancy: Technical Consultant for the project “Spaces of Psychological Support in the Communities of Zhytomyr Region within the project ‘Innovations to Overcome the HIV Epidemic'”

Organizational work context: The NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” is looking for an expert who can perform the role of a technical consultant for the project “Spaces of Psychological Support in the Communities of Zhytomyr Region within the project ‘Innovations to Overcome the HIV Epidemic’ for a period of 6 months.
The project “Spaces of Psychological Support in the Communities of Zhytomyr Region within the project ‘Innovations to Overcome the HIV Epidemic'” is being implemented under a grant agreement between the NGO “In Touch Ukraine Foundation” and Pact Inc. No. 380-019127 dated April 1, 2024, and is being implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project is implemented by a consortium of three organizations: Pact, FHI 360, and AFEW-Ukraine (“AIDS Foundation East-West”).
The project aims to create a network of spaces for psychological support in the territories of Olevska, Slovechanska, and Narodytska communities of Zhytomyr region to provide psychological assistance and support to the population affected by armed aggression.
Requirements for the candidate:
- Higher education in project management, public administration, law, international relations, philology, medicine, etc.
- Experience in project management, activities of non-governmental organizations, international projects, regional development for at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of English at a minimum level of B2; Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.
- Ability to work with Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Canva, Figma, CRM systems, Data Check.
- Availability of certificates for qualification improvement or competency development is an advantage.
Additional documents required for participation in the competition:
- Provide confirmation of quality interaction with local self-government bodies, regional administrations, or other state or municipal authorities of designated territories (in any form).
- Provide 2 successful examples of implementing projects in the public procurement sector, where you were a team member or coordinator.
- Brief description of functional duties.
Functional duties:
- Conducting analysis to identify potential locations for opening PPPs.
- Consulting the project coordinator on issues related to the search, contracting, and organization of the main project team’s work for administering activities.
- Assistance in organizing the process of opening PPPs.
- Resolving problem situations and crises that arise in the operation of PPPs.
- Conducting the process of selection and contracting of PPP administrators, ensuring their training and education.
- Development of proposals and recommendations for improving services within PPPs, taking into account the requirements and needs of users.
- Assisting the project coordinator in organizing events, meetings, trainings during the project implementation with the participation of professional representatives from the region and authorities.
- Preparation of materials for project promotion in the region.
- Monitoring compliance with the project implementation schedule.
- Formation of quality communication models with communities to achieve indicators.
- Formation of a positive image around the relevant project.
- Providing continuous support and consultation to the project coordinator on all issues related to improving services in PPPs.
- Development of standard technical procedures for the functioning of PPPs and control of their compliance.
- Consulting the project coordinator on the development of PPP work schedules.
- Performance of other related duties arising in the process of PPP activity.
