Project Coordinator

NGO “INU TOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION,” EDRPOU code 44749100, invites experts to cooperate in the role of a project coordinator for the project “Implementation of a Universal Progressive Model of Home Visits and Integrated Health Services Oriented towards Children at the Local Level in Certain Regions of Ukraine,” to be implemented jointly with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) within the “Care from the First Breath” home visit program.

The project “Implementation of a Universal Progressive Model of Home Visits and Integrated Health Services Oriented towards Children at the Local Level in Certain Regions of Ukraine” is implemented by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the NGO “INU TOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION” and will take place from March 2024 to January 2025.

Project geography:

Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Volyn, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia regions.

“Care from the First Breath” is a joint program of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and UNICEF, which involves the implementation of a universal-progressive model of home visits to improve the provision of medical and social assistance to families with children from 0 to 3 years old at the primary level. Meeting with the family in their own environment provides the specialist with a unique opportunity to understand the problems and make the right decision.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • Full higher education in the field of project management, international relations, medicine, etc.
  • Experience in management activities in the field of project management, activities of civil society organizations, international projects, regional development for at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge of English at the minimum level A2; Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.
  • Ability to work with Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, Canvas, Figma, CRM systems, Data Check.
  • Availability of certificates for professional development or competence development is an advantage.
  • Zero tolerance for any manifestations of violence and discrimination, adherence to ethical norms.

Additional documents required for participation in the competition:

  • Provide 3 successful project implementation results where you acted as a manager.

Short description of functional responsibilities:

  • Coordination within the project team and interaction with relevant project experts.
  • Assisting the project manager in carrying out planned project activities.
  • Interaction with educational institutions and CPMCD in the process of creating 12 training-resource centers (hereinafter referred to as TRCs for the implementation of UPMMP).
  • Selection and evaluation of appropriate spaces for TRC placement for UPMMP implementation.
  • Mobility and promptness in traveling across Ukraine as part of project implementation and activity launch.
  • Conducting coordination events for the prompt launch of TRCs for UPMMP implementation.
  • Business correspondence with project participants and involved experts, contractors.
  • Preparation of reporting documents (according to donor requirements and internal NGO policies).
  • Conducting offline and online meetings during project implementation.
  • Monitoring compliance with the implementation schedule of the project component.
  • Preparation of the “Parenting School” program analysis and its improvement according to donor requirements.
  • Quality control of relevant activities under the program.
  • Implementation of best digital solutions in project implementation.
  • Development of quality communication models to achieve indicators.
  • Monitoring of project indicators.
  • Building a positive image around the respective project.
  • Implementing informational and educational activities.
  • Control and coordination of payment and procurement plans.
  • Checking invoices and adhering to donor procedures during project implementation.
  • Preparation of documents upon request and disbursement of tranche.
  • Preparation and submission of documents/reporting to the donor.

Personal qualities:

  • Ability to independently organize own work, information gathering process, reporting.
  • High level of communicability, politeness, ability to work in a team.
  • Readiness for workload.
  • Understanding of information access levels in the organization and ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Responsibility, discipline.
