NGO “INTOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION”, EDRPOU code 44749100 invites an expert to cooperate, who can perform the role of a project lawyer for the implementation of the “Implementation of a universal progressive model of home visits and integrated medical and sanitary services, focused on the child, at the local level in certain regions of Ukraine” project, which will be implemented jointly with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) within the “Care from Birth at Home” home visit program.
The project “Implementation of a universal progressive model of home visits and integrated medical and sanitary services, focused on the child, at the local level in certain regions of Ukraine” is implemented by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the NGO “INTOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION” and will take place from March 2024 to January 2025.
Service period: 4 months (March-April 2024 and November-December 2024).
Project geography: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Volyn, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia regions.
“Care from Birth at Home” is a joint program of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and UNICEF, which involves the implementation of a universal-progressive model of home visits to improve the provision of medical and social assistance to families with children from 0 to 3 years at the primary level. Meeting with the family in their own environment gives the specialist a unique opportunity to understand problems and make the right decision.
Requirements for candidates:
- Higher education in law.
- Legal experience of at least 5 years.
- Experience in similar work in public organizations, international projects (will be an advantage).
- Ability to work with databases.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Workspace, Slack, Trello, etc.
- Knowledge of English at the minimum level A2; Knowledge of an additional foreign language will be an advantage.
- Availability of certificates of qualification improvement or competence development will be an advantage.
- Zero tolerance for any manifestations of violence and discrimination, adherence to ethical norms.
Brief description of functional responsibilities:
- Preparation and signing of contracts, acts, expenditure, additional agreements, etc.;
- Legal support during procurement (assistance to procurement specialist and accountant);
- Consultation during reporting, interaction with project participant institutions when signing documents;
- Consultation of project participants on payment for services provided;
- Consultation of individual entrepreneurs – service providers under the project;
- Systematization of organization documents;
- Formation of databases for quality work of the team with documents;
- Legal assistance to the project team during the preparation of project documents and reporting;
- Project documentation control;
- Monitoring information about changes in legislation that may affect project activities.

- Ability to independently organize own work, information gathering process, reporting preparation;
- High level of communication skills, courtesy, ability to work in a team;
- Willingness to work under pressure;
- Attention to details;
- Understanding the structure of access levels to information in the organization and ability to keep confidential information;
- Responsibility, discipline.
