The NGO “INU TOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION,” EDRPOU code 44749100, invites an expert to cooperate who can fulfill the role of project accountant for the project “Implementation of a universal progressive model of home visits and integrated medical-sanitary services oriented towards children at the local level in certain regions of Ukraine,” which will be implemented jointly with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) within the “Home Care from Birth” home visit program.
The project “Implementation of a universal progressive model of home visits and integrated medical-sanitary services oriented towards children at the local level in certain regions of Ukraine” is being implemented by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the NGO “INU TOUCH UKRAINE FOUNDATION” and will take place from March 2024 to January 2025.
Project geography: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Volyn, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zakarpattia regions.
“Home Care from Birth” is a joint program of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and UNICEF, which involves the implementation of a universal-progressive model of home visits to improve the provision of medical and social assistance to families with children from 0 to 3 years old in the primary sector. Meeting with the family in their own environment gives the specialist a unique opportunity to understand problems and make the right decision.
Requirements for candidates:
- Higher education in economics/financial management/accounting and auditing, etc.
- Experience in accounting for at least 2 years (experience in accounting support for grant projects is an advantage).
- Knowledge of English at the minimum level A1; Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the basics of accounting and tax legislation of Ukraine.
- Ability to work with Excel, Word, Google Drive, Google Docs, CRM systems, Base, In-time, M.E.Doc, Privat24Business.
- Professional knowledge: general economic, legislative (taxation), principles of accounting and reporting, basics of management accounting and budgeting.
- Availability of certificates for professional development or competency development is an advantage.
- Zero tolerance for any manifestations of violence and discrimination, adherence to ethical norms.
Short description of functional duties:
- Management of the project’s financial activities and accounting in agreement with the project manager;
- Preparation of documents for requesting tranches in agreement with the project manager, according to the forms provided by the donor;
- Preparation of documents for quarterly reporting on the repayment of tranches, according to the forms established by the donor;
- Control of expenses according to project activities;
- Formation of additional forms for quality monitoring of expenses during project implementation;
- Ensuring the complete and reliable reflection of information contained in the accounting records, on the accounts of accounting;
- Preparation of data for inclusion in financial statements, compilation of separate forms, as well as forms of other periodic reporting based on accounting data;
- Ensuring the preparation of processed documents, registers, and reports for storage within the prescribed period;
- Continuous familiarization and study of new normative-methodological documents on the organization and conduct of accounting.

- Ability to independently organize one’s work, the process of information collection, and reporting preparation;
- High level of communicativeness, politeness, ability to work in a team;
- Readiness for high workload;
- Understanding the structure of levels of access to information in the organization and ability to maintain confidential information;
- Responsibility, discipline.
