We conducted training for 76 social workers and psychologists of the region!

OBJECTIVE:

To raise awareness and gain practical experience in the organization and provision of psychosocial services to families with children and humanitarian case management.

Led by Dmytro Derevyanka, an expert in social service development and a trainer of educational programs at the NGO “Partnership for Every Child”, the specialists:

🔸 Familiarized themselves with case management technology and actions in emergency conditions;

🔸 Determined the algorithm for case management and its stages during humanitarian response; Discussed decision-making procedures and addressed the issue of service recipient referrals;

🔸 Outlined the levels of intervention and the role of social workers and psychologists when working with vulnerable families.

This is the first of a series of planned online and offline training sessions and workshops within the framework of the cross-sectoral project by UNICEF Ukraine and In Touch Ukraine Foundation for social sector specialists in territorial communities of the region – including psychologists and social workers who provide socio-psychological support to children, parents, and caregivers in need.
