- In December, the regional monitoring group held working meetings with leaders and members of mobile teams providing social-psychological assistance to individuals affected by domestic violence and/or violence based on gender signs. They communicated with members of mobile teams located in the Teterivska and Berezivska communities.
During the monitoring, they discussed:
🔹the main tasks of mobile teams; 🔹problems/questions regarding their performance; 🔹opportunities for improvement in their work.
In addition, they identified needs based on the resources of the territorial community where the mobile team providing social-psychological assistance is located.
🟡Representatives from the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration and the respective district administration, inspectors of the Community Policing Department, the Prevention Department of the Main Office of the National Police in the Zhytomyr region, and the Program Advisor for the “Child Protection” direction of the cross-sectoral project In Touch Ukraine Foundation participate in such monitoring visits to communities.
🔵It’s worth mentioning that a mobile brigade is a specialized service to support individuals affected by domestic violence.
The goal of their activities is the prevention and response to violence against boys, girls, and women, providing social and psychological assistance to victims.
💙Support for mobile teams providing social-psychological assistance is carried out within the cross-sectoral project of In Touch Ukraine Foundation and UNICEF.
